SUMMARY
In this chapter we first discussed oceanographic
products available using the Navy Oceanographic
Data Distribution System (NODDS). General
descriptions and example outputs were covered for
each. Effects of ambient noise, bioluminescence,
underwater visibility, ocean fronts, eddies, and
upwelling were then presented along with definitions
and general descriptions of each, Lastly, MIW issues of
interest to the Aerographer were discussed along with
an overview of environmental support, Also presented
was a listing of mine hunting sonars and available
support products.
